We would like to first start off by thanking every single one of you for your endless love and support during this extremely difficult time for all of us. We are extremely touched and grateful to have you all in our lives and we appreciate all the outpouring love and prayers going out for our beloved Mama.

You all know that Sticky Rice has always been Mama’s ultimate dream, she worked hard for it with every fiber of her being her entire life and we are so proud of what she has created and accomplished. She was a beautiful soul that touched many lives and has left behind a great legacy through her warmth, charisma, passion, and food, and she will forever live on through Sticky Rice.

But during this time we need to reach out to all of you because we need your help.

COVID-19 didn’t only take our beloved Mama away from us, it hit us hard and went through 95% of our team and family leaving us utterly devastated with many of us still on the long road to recovery. In that time we have had to close Sticky Rice which was the Team’s and Family’s main source of income.

If you would like to help us get back on our feet and rebuild Mama’s dream that is Sticky Rice, here is how you can do that.

Everyone knows how much Mama loved her cute yellow duckies, especially her favorite mascot and sidekick “Kew”. I worked very closely with her for the past few months on creating and designing a new version of Kew that she honestly loved the most.

It’s really poetic and sweet to say that her buddy Kew is now trying to do his part for Mama and her dream too.

We have opened up the Pre-Orders for Mama’s beloved Kew plushie under a brand that we created especially to remember her called “Mama️ Loves Kew”.

Kew stands 20cm tall, wears the Sticky Rice team shirt, and is the cutest and cuddliest buddy you’ll ever have. Kew is expected to arrive at the end of Q2 2021 and will be AED 100.

You are free to pre-order as many as you like and if you would like to do more, you can also choose to pay as much as you like for Kew in addition to the AED 100 to support us.

To save on shipping costs, all orders will be made available via local pick-up from our JVC outlet.
